Regional + Amazing Food
A few of the suppliers we love…
We get to work with lots of great local producers and amazing brands doing what we do. We look for products we love, great stories and brands that fit with our passion for Alberta and outdoor adventures.
Klein Farm
An amazing family farm east of Red Deer. Their chicken, sausages and Saskatoon berries are featured in many of our favourite dishes.
Foothills Creamery
They’ve been making delicious ice cream right here in Alberta since 1986.
Viva-Deli
This European inspired deli in Red Deer makes the smoked cured meats we’ve been using on our tours since they opened.
Kicking Horse Coffee
We’ve been serving their fair trade coffee on our tours for years. They roast great coffee in Invermere and support lots of outdoor recreation initiatives, which we definitely appreciate.
Wild Brewing Co.
A craft kombucha brewery from Red Deer. We got to enjoy their product when our original Basecamp + Cafe was just a couple of doors down from them in Red Deer.
Troubled Monk
Delicious craft sodas made in Red Deer. They have been featured on many of our tours since they opened in 2015.
Evergreen Co-op
The Co-op brand of cold-pressed canola oil and Canadian made mustards are our favourites and featured in many of our dishes. You can find them in our region at the Evergreen Co-op food stores.
The Nordegg Provisions Co.
Our own line of ice pops, hot chocolate mixes, marshmallows and granola made in-house.
